With a concentration in management, you’ll learn the problem-solving skills that are necessary in a business environment. By taking management classes that delve into hiring practices, taxes, and business law, and classes like “Entrepreneurship and Management of Small Business,” you’ll be prepared for entry-level positions in the manufacturing, distribution, and service industries. Your concentration courses, combined with the core requirements, will offer you a broad exposure to, and sound foundation in, general business principles and practices. Students also receive credit for participating in an approved internship.
The Bachelor of Science in Management prepares students with particular business skills necessary to advance in the fields of management, marketing, marketing management, or sales.
